Wooden checkerboard with checkerboard black and red

This handmade checkerboard is handpainted in the traditional black and red, with black trim. The board is 17 inches square with 1.5 inch squares that are engraved with a router, so the lines will never wear away. This set includes the 24 wood checkers; 12 black and 12 red. I've made a drawstring pouch, so the checkers don't get misplaced like loose checkers can. Not only do these boards serve a purpose of a traditional game, but they make wonderful wall art as well. They look nice hung on a family room or man cave wall or even in a dorm room. These look wonderful sitting by the fireplace or on a bookshelf. A fun past time on the front porch. These make nice gifts. This comes with the checkers for the board but the board would be great too for the chess player you know to use their own chess pieces. This would make a nice gift .
